Budget group travel in Australia for young backpackers?

Can anyone recommend a company such as contiki tours that offers group travel on a budget (hostels/camping)(and for YOUNG people…19-30yrs)? I’m planning on backpacking around Australia for a few months by myself! any advice from ppl who have experienced any group tours in Oz and traveled solo appreciated.
